This came into software suggestions. She's right, when one types
'vacation' on a Sun, one does go into a program that leads you to
believe that the vacation feature is working. What really
happens? In any case, it seems that we should do something to
disable this.

I just learned from an OLC consultant that Athena doesn't support
the vacation feature. I have two comments. The first is that it
should support it. The second is that if it doesn't support it,
then we should not be allowed to set it up. If I go to the Athena
prompt and type vacation, I can follow all the directions and
BELIEVE that everything is set and that while I'm gone people are
learning that I'm on vacation, while in reality no such thing is
happening. I, in fact, have been a victim of this trap and am
just learning today that I have not actually been invoking the
vacation feature when I thought I was over the past four years.
This seems very misleading. I even read through the 'man' page
and found nothing to indicate that this feature wouldn't work. I
find that a serious flaw!
Am I missing something here? If not, can something be done about this?
