Y2K and your athena workstation

For additional information on the y2k compliance of athena
workstations see: http://mitvma.mit.edu/mity2k/athena.html
Athena version 8.3 is y2k compliant. Athena version 8.2 and earlier
are not y2k compliant, although we expect Athena suns running 8.2 will
only have a couple of cosmetic problems and no serious issues. If
your athena workstation is not running Athena version 8.3 you should
consider updating it.
If you need assistance updating your workstation, you can contact the
OLC consultants by typing olc at the athena% prompt, or you can
contact the Athena Cluster Services team by sending mail to
hotline@mit.edu.
