I'll be watching the 6-episode anime FLCL tonight in AiW starting at
9:00 p.m. Feel free to join in if you're interested!
FLCL is a crazy, off-the-wall anime that at its core is a coming-of-age
story. The description from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, on which it
occasionally airs, goes
"This gorgeous animation from Japan features alien rock stars, zippy
motor scooters, and robots that burst from the main character's skull.
We may not understand it, but we sure do like it."
I've read reviews where the experience of FLCL is compared to falling in
love for the first time, and I definitely agree with that sentiment.
So, yeah. FLCL, AiW, tonight at 9.
