Printdel, ASST & VM-SST,
As we continue the rollout of the new printing services, we'd like to
include an impact printing service with InfoPrint Manager (IPM). IBM sells
a networked "shuttle matrix" impact printer which is compatible with
IPM. The print quality of these printers is said to be slightly less than
that of our 4245 band printers but significantly better than standard
dot matrix printers. We've asked IBM for sample output and for a
site visit. We'll be visiting a large customer of IBM's 6400 printers
in Framingham. The site visit will most likely be in the morning.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending the site visit
by the end of the day tomorrow (Thursday).
