Accomplishments (since 10/30/2000):
- Worked with team to finalize Statement of work (SOW) and project
change request (PCR) and had them submitted to Procurement and Legal
for processing
- Worked with Lynne Durland and FSS to set up print queues for FSS
Suspended further work on FSS questions (including questions from
David Rosenberg) due to pressing higher priority tasks.
- Worked with Lynne Durland to investigate use of Java gui via ssh
& X-Windows
- Arranged with ASST to have LPRng installed on Pillage for testing
- Arranged with ASST to have Kerb v5 installed on Pillage for testing
- Arranged with ASST to have Apache installed on Pillage in support of
web interface development and testing
Goals for the coming month:
- Further update Enterprise Printing WBS
- Get signed statement of work and project change request to IBM
- Meet with R3-Admin to discuss potential changes in print queue
request processing
- Work with Lynne Durland to finalize IPM accounting for production
- Modify IPM to take feeds from Moira
- Work with ASST to get KLPR running on Plunder and Pillage
- Determine feasibility of AIX/DCE interoperability with MIT Kerberos
- Test initial IPM Web Interface design from IBM
- Set up IPM for production work.
