Hi Theresa,
Thanks! Given that David wants to test from SAP, I believe that we will
need to have at least the RETIPM queue (if not both) set up in the SAP sf2,
sf5, sf8 and ps1 environments as well.
Based on what I now understand about n-up printing, we probably do
not need to have "RETIPM2UP" and "RETIPM2UP2" queues at this time. I would
still like to have a "RETIPMH" queue (as mentioned in my original email below)
however. We will set up "RETIPMH" so that files sent to it will be held on
plunder.mit.edu for further processing.
I definitely want to consider plunder.mit.edu (and eventually pillage.mit.edu -
the backup server) for nightly feeds from Moira to Windsurf. The only
problem is that I need to modify the software on plunder so that it will
understand the nightly feeds. This is definitely on my queue. I expect to
have a conversation soon with Athena Ops to get a copy of the scripts that
they run on their print servers to receive the Moira feeds. As soon as I
have completed this step and plunder is ready to take feeds from Moira I will
let you know.
Rocklyn
