Greetings,
My read of the new copy of the SOW is that there is absolutely no specifics
around what we are requesting from IBM in terms of work. The first sow we
received had a potential list of work at a high level. I propose that we
add the following four groups of statements to the sow, with the
understanding that the nitty gritty details be handled via their pcr process.
IBM will design an Apache based web server to interact with InfoPrint
manager to:
Allow print submission via the web server (but not utilizing port monitor)
Allow end users of the MIT community to view files waiting to print in a
secure and authenticated manner
Allow end users of the MIT community to move or delete files they submitted
in a secure and authenticated manner
(central printers, the file is not actively printing at the time)
Allow BLT/hd personnel to view waiting print files regardless of submitter
in a secure and authenticated manner
Allow BLT/hd personnel to move or delete print files (active or inactive)
on behalf of submitter in a secure and authenticated manner
(this may include ability to stop a printer)
Non DCE security solution to ensure authorized use, by authenticated users,
of the afp resources required for afp printing
