Dave and all....

I think that the only iffy, item on your lists is deleting a file being 
printed.  I think to do that you need to stop/disable the printer first.

held or waiting files can be removed without a problem, but once the 
printer or the preprocessing for print has started, there are more steps to 
be done before deletion.

There are a few more comments down below...I stopped and reread this a 
second time......

(logical destination...........not queue...there should for the first set 
of production printing only be 1 queue, but multiple logical

line printer files that will be sent for use with the afp 
resources...(think flash forms)  shouldn't be moved to a passthrough 
postscript printer.  So we may want to be careful about this one.

I think this one can work, but would require training and coordination of 
efforts, so that blt/hd doesn't stop a printer to delete a file and the ops 
just see printer stop and restart it .....endless cycle and frustration.
