This note is mainly for Mike and the other HID folks responsible
for installing the new RS6000 boxes.
Some prior discussions and email indicated we would ultimately
house the IPM production server in W91 and the backup/test server
in E19. After confirming with Jody & Rocklyn, and with my other ops
hat on, we are in agreement that the final location for the test/backup
server should be E40. Also, when the dust settles, Jody plans to
have the "crash & burn" server installed in the W91 machine room too.
Jody's definitely the person dealing with the usual ASST installation
work. So, she's the one calling the shots on when and where stuff
is installed, & moved around after she performs the initial setup, config,
testing and such.
