Hello Everyone,
Given that Lynne will be working from home for the next few days and our
most critical tasks are in the software and hardware (when it arrives)
arenas, I am cancelling today's meeting. I apologize for the short notice.
I have left voice mail for those of you who are in town. I have had some
fruitful discussions with Dan Cogswell of IBM; Camilla Fox, Jonathan Hunt,
Theresa Regan, and Jonathon Weiss of IS; and David Rosenberg of FSS. I will
report on these later via email as I am able to sort through them.
For now, Lynne will be "playing" with the newly arrived client software from
home. I will be working on queue names for the IPM controlled printers and
on secure client access (i.e. kerberos and SSL). I will also incorporate into
the WBS the revisions we discussed at our last meeting. Mary Ellen and
Cecilia will, I assume, continue working on the phased rollout and, with help
from Lynne via email, the Service/Support plan.
