Hi Dan,

Here is the follow-up email on our requirements that I promised.

End Users:
----------
- submit print jobs
- display their own print jobs in queues
- remove their own print jobs from queues

Help Desk Staff:
----------------
- All End User functions
- see queues
- remove from queues any individual print jobs that have not yet started

Local and Remote Operators:
---------------------------
- All Help Desk functions
- start printers
- stop printers
- move output between queues/printers
- "clean" printers
- reorder output in queues
- remove output from queues

Administrators:
---------------
- All Operator functions
- create queues
- delete queues
- create printers
- delete printers

We need to have this function on both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
All of these functions must be done securely. The person requesting the
function must be authenticated either via our Kerberos V5 server, or by the
use of X.509 Client certificates (we use our own Certification Authority to
"roll our own"). You can find more information about our Kerberos and SSL
infrastructure from the following web pages:

     MIT's I/T Integration Web Pages:
     ----------------------------------
     http://web.mit.edu/is/integration/ (click on Resources)

     MIT's Kerberos Web Pages:
     -------------------------

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Rocklyn
