Year End reports
1. The new 3160 is in W91. W/be installed within 2 weeks. W/be attached
both directly and via Ethernet.
2. In order to manage the printers and print queues with InfoPrint Manager
(IPM), we'll need to use its client software. The Mac version is frozen.
Therefore, we'll need an NT desktop in E19 for John Guy to manage the
3160 & HP8100 via IPM. (Whose ACTION ITEM is this?)
3. Revision to Current Print Business (MEB). Remove reference to
re-engineering and emphasize demise of mainframe and rise in departmental
computing.
4. Documents to be created:
New Business Model (Cecilia)
Support Plan/Service Plan (MEB, w/help from others)
Detailed rollout (Cecilia w/help). Info from this should go to
Rocklyn to update the WBS.
Stakeholders w/impacts and action items (Cecilia w/help)
5. Hardware:
-Need to clarify starting configuration, including RAID 5 as the
recommendation. (Rocklyn w/Peter Kelley)
-Peter also needs to order 2 RS6000s. (Rocklyn, talk w/Peter)
6. Software: DCE issues still need to be resolved. Rocklyn, ask Cecilia to
order AIX w/DCE. Rocklyn w/ make it work w/our Kerberos.
7. Followup to FSS and R3-admin to whom we owe answers to questions.

8. Invite Carol Wood and Kip B. for a demo of IPM in W91. (Lynne)
9. Dave is on vacation for two weeks. Then back for a week. Then gone for 3
more weeks. Team members should review personal goals and status reports
for work to be done.
