Given the price difference you mentioned compared to IBM's 3160, I'd like us to plan to do an in house comparison of the two printers if you decide to go with Canon's product. Clearly one big difference is the native PDLs supported. However, I don't know why an IPDS printer should inherently cost 250% more than a Postscript printer. Lynne & Rocklyn, it might be interesting for you folks to ping Jeff or Phil about the price differences between the 3160 and several competing 60ppm Postscript printers (competition is in the $20-25K range). -Dave
