Dave,

I'd suggest that you review the work that IBM has done under contract for MIT and other things that we'd like IBM to do in the future. When you talk to Norbert, you can explain why we felt these features were necessary. If he agrees that the features would be useful to his installation also, you could encourage him to try to negotiate IBM including the code developed for MIT as a standard, supported part of the product as a condition in his contract with IBM.
