Hello,

Would you please arrange for Plunder to run ntp as per Garry's
recommendation below? I am assuming that this is already in effect
on Pillage.

Thanks,
Rocklyn

I've installed lprng (and ifhp, the filter software, which is
also installed on pillage) on plunder. It should all be under
/usr/local, just as it is in on pillage. I haven't installed printcap
files or lpd.conf; let me know if you want me to do this or if someone
else will be copying the relevant files off of pillage.

One mostly unrelated thing I noticed was that plunder isn't
running ntp, and it's time is 4 minutes off from the rest of the world:

# date -u ; telnet time daytime
Mon Mar 25 22:56:23 GMT 2002
Trying...
Connected to GPS-1.mit.edu.

This should probably get fixed soon, since Kerberos will not work if the
system's clock is more than 5 minutes off from that of the KDC.

Garry
