Accomplishments for the past period:
- Responded to some remaining issues from OCP & ITAG directors
- Wrote up summary of architecture/infrastructure for some overlooked
issues with the transition from mainframe to IPM printing
- Created & published a list of requirements to explain our choice
of IPM over APS
- Created a consolidated list for pending ASST tasks; most important
tasks are related to Plunder's readiness for test/dev
- Implemented email to submitter if CO or delivery address has not been
provided
- Pillage's server certificates expired and were subsequently renewed
- Worked with IBM to finalize display of page # and printer for
actively printing jobs
- Worked with ASST to set up cron job to issue monthly accounting reports
- Worked with ASST to set up cron job to clean up filter logs
- Set up a temporary test web area on Pillage for staging minor web
page edits
- Worked on banner page information for jobs on pass through printers
- Provided a follow on IPM overview training session for second shift ops
- Provided updated VM print accounting data for business model
- Provided a recap of the incompatible holes issue to VM-SST
- Set up test printer for Rocklyn's work on the header sheet
- Lynne attended perl class
- Tested the MIT reccommended printers for compatibility with IPM
- Continue documenting system maintenance tasks (ongoing)
Goals for the coming period:
- Test & implement IBM code for overriding CO & delivery address for
restricted & selected hidden queues
- Get delivery address on banner page on postscript printers (carryover)
- Create baseline usage report from current mainframe data for the
financial model
- ASST & Miki will install Apache w/ .htaccess mods installed on
Plunder (carryover)
- ASST will setup web interface code on Plunder for staging of IBM work
(carryover)
- ASST will increase file system space for Garry's LPRng work on Plunder
- ASST will clean up a number of inaccuracies on Windsurf
- Resolve large file AIX default configuration problem with ASST
(carryover)
- Add link to job format information in job listing (carryover)
- Continue documenting the system maintenance procedures (ongoing)
- Garry will install LPRng on Plunder with our local mods
- Lynne will provide customized training to Gill & crew
- Lynne to attend Apache class

Our target for completion is 5/1.
ITLT has moved forward with blessing an EFT for application maintenance
and the position has been advertised. Still waiting for the org fit
decision.
