Hi Team,
Here is my status report.
The next to the last item in my goals for February was originally
part of the request to have some indication of the size of the print
jobs displayed on the web. We originally wanted to see both the size
and the format of the print job, but it turned out that the format
was an attribute of individual files WITHIN a print job and NOT an
attribute of the print job itself (of course all of our print jobs
currently contain only one file). As a result, the only way to
display this information was to display it for each file within the
print job and the best way of doing this was to make it all a link
from the job itself. IBM estimated that this would take 4 hours (it
all comes out of my budgeted maintenance PO), but I haven't had the
"go ahead" conversation with them yet. We can drop this task or
retain it - I will defer to the team's wishes.

- Get building and room number in banner page for postscript printers
- Provide updated VM print accounting data for business model
- Get completed .htaccess mods in MIT Apache distribution from Miki
- Set up cron job to issue monthly accounting reports
- Set up cron job to clean up filter logs
- Get roles data into IPM to support authorization checking
- Add link to job format information in job listing
- Wrap up membership in the Enterprise Printing Delivery Team
Accomplishments for January 2002:
- Miki completed .htaccess mods to MIT Apache distribution
- Initiated IBM work on restoring page # and printer id for actively
printing jobs
- Met with Garry Zacheiss to plan automated Moira feeds, banner pages, and
zephyr installation
- Designed automated email notice to submitters of jobs when accounting,
or delivery location information is missing
Goals for February 2002 ("c" indicates carryover):
c Get building and room number in banner page for postscript printers
c Provide updated VM print accounting data for business model
c Get completed .htaccess mods installed into Plunder
c Set up cron job to issue monthly accounting reports
c Get IBM to finalize display of page # and printer for actively printing jobs
c Set up cron job to clean up filter logs
- Set up a temporary test web area on Pillage for staging of IBM work.
c Add link to job format information in job listing
c Wrap up membership in the Enterprise Printing Delivery Team
Issues
- I had less time for PRINTDEL tasks due to other project and team work
