Here is a pass at a draft for ASST.
Greetings,
The IPM printing system has been online for several months and usage is
increasing. We have been keeping track of the disk space in the filesystem
/var/pd since the recent increase to 8 gig this fall. In an attempt to
keep the disk space at a reasonable level we as a team decided to reduce
the amount of time jobs will be retained from 7 days to 3 days. In spite
of this reduction of retain time, we have had the amount of available disk
space in this filesystem go below 10%. After some analysis and team
discussion we think it is prudent to request that the /var/pd filesystem be
increased again on both pillage and plunder to 16 gig.
While this is not an urgent or emergency request we would like to have a
target date for completion of this work.
Please let us know when this work can be scheduled.
Thank you,
Lynne E. Durland
