Hi Lynne,
I think that sounds pretty plausible - thanks :) I take it there's no way
to verify that that was to problem (lpd error log?).
You may with to considered a cron job that runs fairly frequently and
alerts the operator (you at the moment?) if free space falls below some
level. Over time (esp. when GL Summary Statements are running) you may
need to tweak such a threshold, but alters may reduce the monitoring effort
considerably. Just a thought.
