Accomplishments for the past period:
- Got banner & duplex/bounce working; worked with CAOTech to
implement KLPR on their desktops; and moved EP1 to IPM's control
- Wrote article for i/s Newsletter; continued building Stock Answers
and finetuning of enduser documentation
- Jody reinstalled Plunder in E40 and added the new disks to both
Pillage & Plunder
- Implemented FSS1 queue for future SAP testing by FSS
- Implemented General Ledger print queue restrictions
- Performed more sizing calculations based on CAO's request to print
GL at 600 dpi
- Worked with Graduate admissions office on submissions
- Worked with IBM to resolve a registration problem
- Received latest patches from IBM
- Worked with R3-Print and others to modify and clarify the process
for adding, deleting & changing SAP print queues
- Handed off Operator documentation to the DOST documentation team
- Handed off sysadmin web pages to Lynne for ongoing maintenance
Goals for the coming period:
- Merge filter mods into single parameterized version of filter
- Reject klpr submissions when account number, building, or room are unknown
- Provide updated VM print accounting data for business model
- Set up cron job to issue monthly accounting reports
- Set up cron job to clean up filter logs
- Reinstall IPM licenses now that Plunder is available again
- Print the Monthly GL Statements if CAO is ready
- Get completed .htaccess mods in MIT Apache distribution (carryover)
- Wrap up Rocklyn's membership in Printdel (carryover)
- Continue to work on end user instructions (web pages) & add entries
to Stock Answers (ongoing)
- Publish article in i/s Newsletter
- Continue customer discussions wrt IPM rollout & network based
mainframe printing (ongoing)
Issues:
ASST still needs resources besides Lynne to manage IPM post delivery.
Monthly GL Statement printing with IPM was postponed for another month
due to some unrelated feature testing required by CAO.

Recent efforts by ASST, R3-Print, CAOTech and others helped make for
a very productive reporting period.
