Greetings Teammates,
I am still catching up on the mail in the discuss meeting and stumbled
across this from some ibm'er
Impact printing
IPM does not support 4245s or any other channel-attach impact printer.
However it does support ASCII network impact printers such as our 6400
product line, and also supports the IPDS version of the 6400 for
additional font, barcode and graphics (AFP) capability.
The mail was sent march 2nd. so I think the answer is yes as long as the
impact/line printer is not channel attached then we can "drive" it from ipm.
