Attending: all

Disk space: Disk has been ordered and expedited. No delivery date.

Simplex in/duplex out: REC to clone Dan's script, then remove
building and room. Due 11/9. Then LED to test that all pieces work.
Due 11/13. When this is done, then EP1 can move over to IPM. Due
date: Thanksgiving.

Authenticating SAP submits...: LED w/ask Theresa to submit print job
from SAP and verify that it goes through. (11/8) When this is
successful, LED w/add gltw and glmp to queue list. LED implement
Garry's instructions for ensuring that print job is coming from an
SAP server. Due: 11/13.

Clean up test queues: LED, by 12/1.

Get Plunder up and running in E40. LED, get a delivery date from Peter.

Printer trays: operators currently using only main tray.
Documentation has been updated.

Authorizer for SAP center print queues: No response to LED's email.
She'll ask again - directly to Bil.

dpi options: Done. GLMP prints at 300 dpi; all others at 600 dip.

Service recovery for print engines: DFL has contacted a vendor for a
solutions that would let us use Kip's machines. Dave w/follow up on
this.

Complete financial model: Dave waiting on new data that REC w/provide
by the end of November. Responsibility for ongoing
support/maintenance now back w/ASST. Only the revision of the web
user interface belongs to EAST.

htaccess: Miki is awaiting REC's decision. He'll let her know 11/8.

IPM doesn't enforce kerberos authentication: REC located command
where LPD perms can be set. LED, to do it.

Installation maintenance web page: REC passed this one to LED/MEB to work on.

How to limit access to EP1: EP1 is a public machine and can't require
authentication since SAP requires no authentication. Confusing to
end-users who will see it in the drop down list along with
central-letter, etc. No difference in output between central-letter
and EP1. SOLUTION: LED can hide it from the web page, thus "security
by obscurity." Decision to tie demise of EP1 to demise of E19
facility.

Operator's documentation: file sent to James to put on the web.
Maintenance responsibility now belongs to DOST-DOC.

Web end-user documentation: it's coming along. Next version by next meeting.

Help Desk/BLT documentation: MEB, give latest version to Carol Wood.

Newsletter article due for publication in Nov/Dec issue.
