Pete,
It doesn't feel right for me to explain to you what Roger said he
already discussed with you regarding the servicing of IPM based on
his recent discussions with Bob & Theresa.
I'm feeling kinda squoozed here from both sides, and it doesn't feel
good. It also feels like the org fit for servicing IPM is a moving
target, and this has been extremely frustrating to the print delivery
team. The org fit issue was highlighted ~16 months ago by the team.
Several decisions were made (including the initial one back in 9/00
which said ASST would temporarily own IPM and to which Pete agreed).
Then it was to live in EAST. And now, I'm told it's back in ASST
if headcount is obtained. What if headcount is not obtained? To whom
does printdel delivery the IPM service work?
Might I request that Roger, Bob or Theresa articulate their current
org model in writing here so that everyone is on the same page.
-Dave
