Mary Ellen,
Notes on the
http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/enterprint/userwebdocs/ipmweb.html, page:
1.Click on Print Jobs in the left hand margin to open a page that displays
your jobs
waiting to be printed.
2.To make a change, check the checkbox for the item you want
to change. All jobs are
received in the queue in a "held" state. Actions you may
take here are:
Change Destination
Change Media (that is, direct the file to a different
printer)
Change the number of copies.
Put a please at the beginning of the next line. The end users can delete a
job if it is still held, but should not release a job or delete it if the
state is not held.
Do NOT change the state - the W91 operator needs to
release or delete a job. If
you want to delete a Held job, call the Computing Help
Desk (x3-7701, Mac or
x3-7702, Windows).
3.After you make the change, click the update button for the
job.
Note: The screen refreshes every two minutes. If you have
made a change and not
clicked Update within two minutes, the screen refresh will
reset the display to the
original state.
The end users do not need/want to use the check boxes, as the only three
things they can do with the check boxes is hold/release and delete.
The end users need to use the pull down menus to change destination or media.
Job accounting is a public page? I thought that one was restricted......
In the section titled submit a print job, the entries for the building,
room and account number, should say something about filling in the field,
if empty, or verifying the information displayed before continuing. This
is partially dependant on if the end user went to the account info page
before the first submission or not.
I think there needs to be more words around the last box at the bottom of
the page, what and why the changes are needed.
From page:

On the mac side I think you need to be careful about "how you usually"
print to a printer. I am not sure that the appletalk drivers use
postscript. It might be best to put something like: "Be sure you are using
a postscript driver, before saving the file to disk."
Hope this helps,
Lynne
