Hi Mark,
I am following up on your recent request to the Help Desk, regarding the printer fss1.mit.edu not successfully getting an ip address with bootp. Just for confirmation, have you tried a cold restart? That is, powering the printer off, and actually unplugging the power cord as well? Note that this may delete the appletalk name from the printer's settings. The Help Desk can reset the appletalk name for you after the cold restart if you let us know what it is.
