Hi Aimee
Thought this is good information. I think I will post it to the peace-list
group.
Have the Campus police etc been contacted? I think it's a good idea, for
the protection of participants (including me!)

My original message to Mary Rowe, MIT Ombudsperson:
Hi Mary
I received Chancellor Clay's email about protecting the rights of members
of the MIT community from harrassment during this difficult time. He was
specifically referring to those of the Muslim faith, I believe. However, I
have also come across a considerable amount of animosity against those who
are pro-Peace as opposed to pro-War.
I know that students and other members of the MIT community are planning a
pro-Peace rally for Thursday. Can you suggest resources in the event that
participants encounter any form of harrassment?
Thanks

Yes indeed....I would immediately contact the campus police and Deans

their staff. Are you also working with the chaplains? Thank you for
writing. Let me know if you would like to come in and talk?
