This was a comment taken off NYC indymedia... some food for thought:

I'm quite shocked about what I saw in TV yesterday. But I'm shocked, too, when
I see or hear or read about all the attacks where people die. So I think it is
stupid to say "Let's strike back", as George W. Bush says. I would like
politicians of the whole so-called civilised world to think about brutality
and power over people. It's absolutely cruel what happened. And it is cruel
that there are 30'000 children a day diing because they have nothing to eat.
And it's cruel that Native's still got no rights. And it's cruel that USA bombs
Bagdad. People in Bagdad, in Serbia, Palestine, in Israel and in many other
countries know the feeling very well to get bombed. They are human beings with
the right to live, exactly like everyone in the western world.
I am against war, against weapons. If the USA continues its way of treating the
rest of the world, I'm not wondering that some crazy guys do things like they
did yesterday."
