On Saturday May 12, BankBusters, a local anti-IMF/World Bank group, will be
having a fundraising concert with an eclectic array of musicians and other
artists.
The IMF and World Bank are meeting again in late September in DC. We are not
about to let them do this in peace and quiet--once again, there will be
large protests and actions against them. Proceeds from the fundraiser will
go to pay for buses to send people down to the protests in DC.
When: Saturday, May 12, 8:00pm - midnight
Where: Spontaneous Celebrations, 45 Danforth St, Jamaica Plain (near the
Stony Brook T stop on the Orange line)
Price: $5-$15, sliding scale
