This workshop was in part set up as a response to the very
*constrained* so-called free-speech session that occurred
when Mr. Horowitz graced this campus with his fine presence.
(As free as can be expected with six armed police and no
active audience participation... and then the coward ran out
the door as fast as possible when it was over, with police
blocking anyone who would try to follow him to chat... let's
hear it for free speech and the police who fight so hard to
protect it!)
This should be a very good discussion about racism, speech,
sexism, etc. and a chance to be heard and hear others thoughts on
these topics.
