Ok, it's time for a shameless plug:
You have probably received emails about how we at SAVE are being labeled as leftist radicals for our support of the FTAA protests. The MIT Objectivist club seems to be opposed to environmentalism because I think they think it's anti-capitalism, or something.
I myself am somewhat confused and don't really understand what rational thought and complete selfishness and capitalism have to do with one another, but if you would like to come and discuss environmentalism and the aftermath of a crazy Earth Week, we invite you to join for our weekly SAVE meeting:
What: SAVE meeting
When: 10 pm on Tuesday, April 24
Where: Third Floor of the Student Center next to the PDRs
Why: because it will be fun, darnit!
Come hear first-hand accounts from two of our members who went to the FTAA-protest in Quebec City, come learn about different environmental programs here at MIT, and come see how we change the world not through name-calling and vitriolic attacks, but by constructive and rational arguments :)
