A couple of requests relating to FTAA stuff.
1. Does anyone have or know of a friend with a car that can pick up some fruit and bagels/scones from Food for Free near cambridge city hall around
noon-2pm Friday? We may also need someone to pick up food Sat. afternoon for Sat. dinner.
2. Can anyone volunteer to help cook dinner Sat. night? Dinner is 6 to 7, so the cooking would start around 4, maybe 5. Food not Bombs can probably
do dinner, the issue is getting volunteers to help cook.
3. We need people to put up directions and "talk here!" "conference here!" signs during the weekend. Let MIKE HINCZEWSKI (mgh@mit.edu) know if you
can help with this.
4. We need plates, utensils, etc. for the meal. I'm divided on disposable vs. "real." If you use real, we save resources, but we need a lot of them,
and we need a way to transport them somewhere afterwards. disposable pollutes but it makes life easier. I dunno. If anyone thinks they can organize
real stuff let me know. Otherwise, if you have disposable stuff, or can steal it from your department, please bring it to the conference or meals.
Thanks folks!
