Hello there,
I've created a new MIT mailing list for those people interested in
taking action on environmental issues. It's called earth-action@mit.edu.
This is list for people who want to coordinate letter writing, protests,
or other means in order to create political (or economic) pressure for
environmental issues. This is primarily an action-oriented list; I'd
like the focus to be on what we can *do* about environmental issues, not
simply making people *aware* of environmental issues.
The list is an activist list, but may be used for announcements,
coordinations, planning, etc. It is a public list; all members may post,
and anyone can add themselves. The idea is to connect people with like
mindsets and create an environment that supports political activism.
If you think you'd be interested, you can add yourself on athena using
blanche or mailmaint. feel free to forward to appropriate groups.
questions, contact me.

Only after the last tree has been cut down.
Only after the last river has been poisoned.
Only after the last fish has been caught.
Only then you will find that money cannot be eaten.
