MEDIA DISTORTIONS AND THE MIDDLE EAST
               speaker: Ali Abunimah
            Wednesday, March 21st 7-9pm
                  MIT Room 2-190
            ****************************

So much coverage but so little accurate, in-depth information on the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict:
What are the human costs of this distortion?

Ali Abunimah is an activist for peace and justice in the Middle East,
Vice President of the Arab American Action Network in Chicago, and a
frequent Middle East expert on TV and radio - including the BBC, CNN,
and Pacifica. Mr. Abunimah is a full-time researcher in social policy
at the University of Chicago.

This should be a really engaging talk, with plenty of time for
discussion, questions, and argument!

Sponsored by: Boston Committee on the Middle East (BCOME), Boston
Coalition for Palestinian
Rights (BCPR), the MIT Anthropology Program, The Thistle, MIT Arab
Student Organization
