The impact of rape and relationship violence affects everyone: survivors,
friends, partners, classmates, roommates, families. How can we all come to
understand this better and find ways to support each other and make a
positive difference in our own lives and in the lives of those around us?
Come to this panel discussion to hear about these issues and about resources
and ways to make our school a safer and healthier place for everyone. The
panel will feature a local rape survivor who volunteers at the Boston Area
Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), Kunya Desjardins an Assistant Dean in
Counseling And Support Services, Fabiana Wallis a PhD. in Psychology
working with MIT Mental Health Services, and Mary Beth Riley a Detective
Sergeant in the Campus Police.
