First SJC Meeting and Drop Poster Painting

For those of you who don't yet know, next week is going to be a week of
activities attempting to raise awareness about violence towards women in
general, and rape and sexual assault in particular. The details of these
events will be in an upcoming email, but this weekend we (SJC) are going
to paint a drop poster to advertise for the events. We will also be holding
our first meeting of the semester right before painting. For those of you
interested in taking up a leadership role this will be an important meeting
to get things under way, but everyone is welcome. OK, so enough of the lead
in, here are the details
the first SJC meeting of the semester will be held in the
fourth floor lounge of the student center at 2:45pm this Sunday
immediately following the meeting (~ 3:30 pm) we will go around
the corner and paint the drop poster for next weeks events
We look forward to seeing everyone interested in making a difference here at
MIT and in the community at large on Sunday. Until then, TTFN.
