Speakers
FRANCES FITZGERALD: Pulitzer prize author and journalist, Frances
FitzGerald is a well-known expert on missle defense. Her new book, "WAY
OUT THERE IN THE BLUE: Reagan, Star Wars and the End of the Cold War" was
voted one of the 10 best books of 2000 by the NYTimes.
RICARD GARWIN: Dr. Garwin's work has included studies on
anti-submarine warfare, sensor systems, and satellite and strategic
systems. He chairs the Arms Control and Nonproliferation Board for the US
Department of State. He is a Fellow Emeritus at IBM's Thomas J. Watson
Research Center.
PHILIP MORRISON: World-renowned physicist, MIT Professor Emeritus
Philip Morrison was a member of the Manhatten Project from 1942-46 in
Chicago, Los Alamos and overseas. In 1945, he took part in the first test
and use of the atomic bomb. He is the author of numerous books, subjects
including arms control and nonproliferation.
