Bill McKibben is among the most widely-recognized and
influential environmental writers today. He is author of 6
environmental books, including The End of Nature;
Hope, Human and Wild; and Maybe One: A Case for
Smaller Families. His articles on climate change and
the environmental movement have been featured in
the New Yorker, the Atlantic, Harpers, and The
New York Times. He has been named a Guggenheim
Fellow and received the 2000 Lannan Award for nonfiction
writing.
