Come hear the scientist who quit his job at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratories
to join the anti-nuclear movement.
Dr. Toupadakis quit his position as nuclear research scientist at the beginning
of this year, refusing to work on the maintenance of nuclear weapons. His
resignation drew huge support from peace activists all over the world and he
has given several talks on the topics of responsibility in science, nuclear
industry and corporate secrets. He was one of the invited speakers at the
2000 World Conference Against Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs in Japan.
Dr. Toupadakis will be talking about "Scientists, Secrets, Corporate Slavery
and the Coming Omnicide. Health, Environmental, Ethical, and Policy
perspectives."
