Third party candidates Ralph Nader and Pat Buchanan are being
excluded from upcoming presidential debates by the Commision on
Presidential Debates (CPD). The CPD is run by representatives of
the Democratic and Republican parties and subsidized largely by
major corporations. The CPD invites only those candidates showing
15% or more in public opinion polls - triple the 5% of the vote
necessary to receive matching Federal funds. It's time to
give voters exposure to a broad array of candidates and ideas
so they can make thoughtful and informed choices.

and urge her to allow third party candidates into the debates
whose parties earn 5% of the vote.
