Monday, June 23, Vice President Cheney is coming to
Hopkinton for a Republican fund-raiser at the home of
Richard Egan, former ambassador to Ireland. Our sister
group, Metrowest Partners for a Just and Peaceful
World, is organizing a protest in Hopkinton during the
visit. It will probably take place in the late
afternoon/early evening. It is a great opportunity to
be visible in our outrage. They are expecting a lot of
media coverage. David Rolde, from Weston Dialogues on
War and Peace, has asked us for our support, and we
hope a lot of Newton folks will be able to attend. For
