On Sunday, May 11, the Museum of Science will offer special programming
featuring women in science,
free admission for moms, a take-home gift and more...
Free Exhibit Hall admission for mothers (special buttons for moms to get
free admission are available in
the lobby) Membership Moms -- Stop by the membership booth for your free gift!
11:30 and 1 p.m. - Science Theater presents RISK: It's Not What You Think
at the CS&T stage a mother and
healthcare worker talk about small pox and the pros
and cons of vaccination.
2:30 p.m. - CS&T "Frontiers of Health Science" series continues with guest
engineer,
Susan Murcott, MIT "Low Tech Med Tech: Saving Lives in
Developing Countries"
3:00 p.m. - Special presentation of the large-format film Dolphins in the
Mugar Omni Theater - follow
scientist Kathleen Dudzinski from the Bahamas to the
wind-swept seas of
Patagonia as she studies dolphin-to-dolphin
communication.
Stop by the Museum's SunLab (2nd level of the Blue Wing) for a planting
activity that moms can take home.
