Somerville: From 6:45-9:00pm at College Ave. Methodist Church, Corner
of College Ave and Chapel St, Davis Square, Ellen Cantarow and Marty
Federman will give presentations on their separate trips to Israel
and Palestine. Marty spent a month in January traveling in the
territories and will report on the difficulties the Palestinians face
in their daily lives, including the long delays at checkpoints and
the ongoing curfews. Ellen Cantarow, jazz musician and journalist,
wrote during the 1980s from the West Bank and Israel, covering
politics and human rights.
