Tomorrow, Thursday, May 1, begins:
Waste Awareness Day at MIT!
3 simple steps to getting free ice cream
and becoming more connected with the earth
-Come to Alpine Bagels (in the Student Center) between 10:00 am and 3:00pm
on Thursday. Sign up and get a garbage bag.
-For the next day or so, put all the trash that you create into your bag,
instead of into the trash can. (recycling and compost are exempt).
-Return with your trash bag to the SAVE booth at the Earth Day festivities
on Kresge Oval on Friday between 10:00 and 4:00 to weigh your bag.
Receive a gift certificate to Toscanini's. And enter our raffle for other
fabulous prizes!
