A few people asked if the "MIT FOR PEACE" pin is still available; yes,
we have plenty left. If you missed the booths where we were selling
peace pins the past week, here is another opportunity to get some for
yourself or your friends. I'll be selling the peace pins in the
student center coffeehouse from 7-7:30pm Tuesday and Thursday. Email
me if you want a pin but cannot make those times, and I'll try to
accommodate.
+ Richard

Hello.
Show your support for peace! Wear an "MIT FOR PEACE" pin!
A few weeks ago we had the idea of making custom pins to show the MIT
community's support for peace. This pin's simple message allows you
to express your hope for a peaceful resolution in the war on Iraq and
other conflicts throughout the world. Whether you are student,
faculty, staff, or alum, you can use this pin as a good conversation
starter and help foster campus dialog on peace issues.
The lovely design can be seen at:

(A more nicely scanned image, but with a different message, is at
http://www.peacepins.com/images/QXX4-115.jpg)
We will be selling these at the following times and locations:
Coffeehouse Tuesday, April 22, 3pm-6pm
Lobby 10 Thursday, April 24, 10am-4pm
Lobby 10 Monday, April 28, 10am-4pm
Look for someone wearing the pin. If you feel you need a pin sooner,
email me and I may be able to accommodate you. Also, if you'd like to
help staff the Lobby 10 booth, please let me know.
Pins are being sold for a mere $2, just slightly above cost, and any
profit will help the SJC fund events. Feel free to let others know
about this pin.
In peace,
+ Richard
