Friends:

The Center for Environmental Citizenship's Clean Energy Extravanganza
is happening next Tuesday, April 29, from 5:30 to 8:30. I wanted to
make sure you were all invited.

CEC is an environmental group that works nationally supporting student
enviro groups and running activist trainings primarily around voting,
lobbying, and political campaign work. They helped organize the
student environment summit at Brandeis in 2001, for those of you who
were there.

Until now they've resisted picking more specific campaigns topics, but
have decided to push Clean Energy and Climate as a national issue
through at least next year's elections. I think they'll be great.

Next Tuesday's party is a kickoff party, chance to meet other
activists and climate / energy types, and also fundraiser for those
who can give. It'll be fun.

The announcement is below.
