One more reminder--might be good to attend a panel or two to provide
alternative feedback.
I just registered for this symposium, although I think I will only go
to one or two panels. At 9:10 a.m. is a panel on "data mining" and
"risk assessment" (nice way to couch "extreme invasion of privacy"
and "racial profiling"). I am assuming there will be a q&a period
for feedback following each panel.
Complete agenda and registration forms are document at the bottom of
the website:
>>
>>Speakers include:
>>=AE John Marburger, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy
>>=AE Charles M. Vest, MIT
>>=AE Lewis Branscomb, Harvard
>>
>>For the symposium program and registration information:
>>=AE Please see: http://esd.mit.edu/TPP/symposium2003.html
>>=AE For questions please email tppsymp@mit.edu
