There will be a gathering next Sunday to remember Amadou Diallo.
In response to Selam's interest and the lingering distaste in most
of us, here is an idea:
if we can get 41 people from MIT, from GSC, BSU, SJC,
HFH, etc, we can all wear one number made with tape on
the back of our shirts; meet somewhere at MIT and walk
together in a big group to Harvest, where the event
will be held. i think that would make a statement.
I realize people are really busy this time of year, but this idea
would only work if we get enough people to participate. Please
pass the idea along to different groups and send me an email if
you can make it and we'll decide if it's feasible or not. Thanks!
Felix

hey guys,
ok so this is an idea that i would like to bounce of y'all.
the amadou diallo verdict (and many many others) is still eating at me.
i was thinking about getting a tshirt printed for myself saying simply
"41" as a sort of a reminder--maybe a quiet protest of sorts... anyway
a few friends said that they'd like one as well. i wondered if this was
something that a lot of people would be interested in....
i dunno....just an idea...if you would want a shirt if i did this thing,
then let me know....
if you think this is a bad idea let me know too...
