"They" say the first casualty of war is truth, but how does
our media work and why does it seem so ready to cover pro-war
viewpoints and so reluctant to cover anti-war ones? Why was
Michael Moore allowed to be SEEN getting his award on MSNBC
news this morning, but not heard. Who owns the media? What is
the structure of the media? And how democratic is it? Most
everyone on these lists opposes war for various reasons, let's
take a moment to get inside the media so we can better plan to get
our various messages out.

Come see the documentary debunking US media with many clips
of MIT's own, Noam Chomsky.

what: screening of MANUFACTURING CONSENT

where: MIT 6-120

when: Monday Night (3/24) at 7pm

why: b/c knowledge is power!

In hope,
		Aimee
