Protest the Targeting of Immigrant Rights Activists--
Pack the Courtroom!
Thursday, 3/27, 9:30 a.m.
Boston Federal Courthouse
(Joseph Moakley Courthouse near Fan Pier)
On January 10, 2003, immigrant rights activists Aimee Smith and Dan Keshet
were detained and cited for handing out information about basic
constitutional rights to immigrants at the INS headquarters in Boston.
Their actions were part of an ongoing campaign to get necessary legal
information to Arab and Muslim men who have been forced to appear to be
photographed, fingerprinted and interrogated as part the Special
Registration Program--a systematic program of racial profiling and
religious persecution--instituted by the Department of Justice in December
of 2001.
Please help us pack the courthouse for their hearing on Thursday, 3/27, to
support the right of freedom of speech and freedom of protest.
