Subject: URGENT ANTI-WAR WALKOUT MEETING: TONIGHT 9PM!
=========== URGENT ANTI-WAR WALKOUT MEETING TONIGHT! ========
Tuesday, March 18, 9PM
Lobdell Dining Hall, 2nd Floor Student Center
====================== NOW IS THE TIME ======================
Bush has given 48 hours until he launches full-scale War on Iraq.
We expect the campus-wide walkout to be THIS THURSDAY, March 20.
======================== WE NEED YOU! =======================
We've been planning the MIT Walkout for weeks. But to make this protest a
success, we need YOUR help:
- To hand out walkout flyers and 'I WILL WALK OUT TODAY' stickers at strategic
locations on the morning of the walkout.
- To go classroom to classroom announcing (politely!) the walkout schedule.
- To help with the noon rally logistics, speakers, sound, etc.
- To hang the giant anti-war banners in highly visible locations.
AND MORE! We will assign everyone concrete tasks for the day of the Walkout.
If you haven't been able to make the previous meetings but have been wanting
to get involved, now's the time to ACT. Please come!
